IVSA president and his 2 months

Hey Guys!!!

Did you miss me? Of course you probably did not… But anyway! I have been president for almost 2 months now, and I’m feeling the burden of this huge responsibility more and more each day.

Now, let me tell you what I’ve been doing in the last 6 weeks. On the 1st to 4th October, I attended the IFISO meeting in Zürich, at which I had the chance to meet up with other student association representatives, and share our experiences and improve our networking. I then met up with Dr. Siraya Chunekamrai from WSAVA, and also had a very productive conversation with her.

Based on that conversation, we will see many great projects with WSAVA which will benefit of IVSA in the near future, and you will find much more information about this in my next blog post, I promise! Also as a general task, I’m keeping an eye on the ExCo and their works, but am trying to be more of an observer instead of getting involved, because I always believe that the ExCo team can and will work out the best options through discussions (and because I will continue to say this in every blog post – that I have an amazing team!), I would also like to highlight the hard work of the other IVSA Officials. As you can see, our MOD team has been making great EO Bulletins which are sent to each MO almost every month, and the DAD team is working on a lot of surprises you will have a chance to see in Taiwan ;), and of course our Secretariat team is supporting us for all projects.

Without them, I must admit that we can’t do anything!!! Together with the Trustee-Committees, as an IVSA Officials Family, we are working hard, for your benefit, everyday!!! And very soon, you will be able to read our first newsletter!
