Hi everyone!
If you recognize my name, you’ve probably received emails from me about the Email Project. I believe that a lot of you have already started using the emails and are also using it for VetStage. If so, congratulations! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you did not receive the email and stuff because there are times that emails get lost in the crazy universe that I like to call the “mail galaxy”.
Also, a shout out to Malcolm who has been helping me a lot when there are problems with the emails. Thanks Malcolm! Basically, we have had quite a few “why does it say authentication error?” or “I have not received the emails”, but other than that, we are doing okay with the Email Project. Email Project aside, I wasn’t able to attend the Symposium in Taiwan as I was doing my practicals on a farm. I am so happy for IVSA Taiwan that the event was a complete success. Congratulations, IVSA Taiwan! Everywhere on my FB timeline were pictures of everyone reuniting, meeting new people, sharing cultures and having the time of their life. The best part about IVSA is definitely the people! I can’t wait to meet old friends and new people at future events.
Chapter-wise, I am starting a new term with the team and also retiring as the Exchange Officer (EO) of IVSA Malaysia, Selangor. This is where I think the Email Project is genius, by the way! People send in their emails to me about exchanges as they may not realize that there is a new EO. The new EO can just correct them and introduce herself through our Member Organization email. No need for the longer process of explaining the change and then forwarding the emails to the relevant person now!
IVSA aside, I am starting the 2nd semester of my 3rd year in my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. We have our surgery classes this semester and I am still figuring out how not to tear the sponges we practice suturing on! Anyone else having trouble suturing during their first time just like me? Hopefully practice makes perfect for us all.
Cheers!
