IVSA Experiences through a Mod Secretary’s Eyes
Hello again, everybody. I believe that you know me from my previous article, but for those who don’t, my name is Hara Korakaki and I am the EO of IVSA Thessaloniki, Greece and also Secretary to the MOD.
My MOD Secretary duty began on September 2015 and so far, I can safely say that I am still really enthusiastic about it. I learned more about the Bylaws and I gained experiences on how to cooperate with people, like my amazing ‘‘boss‘‘ Anka, who always supports me, even when I make silly mistakes. (We are humans :-)).
Second, I am trying to be perfect through all of my responsibilities as an EO and a Secretary to the MOD and so far, I’m somewhat managing it still. ( For example, now I am in Czech Republic for a Student Exchange and we are having so much fun! I am grateful that I chose them, and all the participants of Thessaloniki are enjoying it). But one thing I want to say to every EO out there is that mistakes happen. It is normal! We don’t have to worry about everything. Just collect and treasure as many great memories as possible.
But, enough about the EO duties. As for the MOD Secretary duties, currently, I have a really nice job. I collect a list of the ten most frequently-asked-questions from the entire ExCo, put them in a logical order, and then I answer them. I find this amazing because through this, I will learn so much more than I already have (I don’t know all the answers, so I have to search for them :P) and eventually, I intend to leave a booklet at the end of my term, which will hopefully help many people solve their questions. I will try my best and I hope t hat you will enjoy reading it.
The last thing for today is about the next Congress in Vienna. There were some issues with my application, but Victoria answered almost immediately and helped me to solve it. I want to say a HUGE thank you to her. She is the best. Really!! And I know for sure that she and all her team will try really hard to ensure that everybody is satisfied. I can’t wait to go there this Summer.
So with that, see you in Austria!!
